Welcome to John's Journey in Grace Blog!

What you’ll find here

A journey in faith and life where it pertains to my walk with Christ. I will be direct, honest and real. I’ll be talking about addiction, PTSD, terminal illness and how all they relate to my faith and my life. Some of the posts will be about my past, and how that relates to my current journey.

A little about me:

I’ve been a Christian since September, 11th 2001. While I was watching the news of the attack on television. I had become very agitated and worried because I had some family and friends that worked in the World Trade Center, or very near there. I’m originally from NY, and I had worked in the world Trade Center on the Comex, The New Work Commodity Exchange. I suddenly had this urgent need to pray. I had this brief thought that maybe Jesus was for real. As, I started to pray Jesus appeared to me and said, “John, It’s time to pick up your cross.” Then He was gone.

I hated Christians and didn’t believe that Jesus was God. I believed He was just a man, who knew where the rocks were when He walked on water. For Jesus to appear to a man like me, and personally save me just amazes me to this day, and I'll still be amazed my entire life!
